Review: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual-Time

Post by gaf1958 »

A grail watch in one form or another for a number of forum members; one that many of us are unlikely to see and even less likely to own, here’s a review of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual-Time.

Love it - and feel sure it would fit my wrist better than his! :)

^^^^^^I think that he is a she - Cara. Somehow woman wearing a watch that is too big, doesn't seem as daft to me as when worn by a man with a small wrist! :)

I’m going for one in rose gold - but may return it on day 59

Not bad in the white but even then it doesn't really do it for me. Uncultured buffoon here obviously as I know it is popular elsewhere on here.
Cheers now, Paul

To be fair Richard from pictures I have seen of Cara wearing a white DayC, that also fits you better.....

However her pics wearing it did more for my imagination! :D

It's not bad but I find it to be ruined by the am/pm indicator. A small circle that changes colour, next to the indice would look much less fussy.

Honestly though I think having an adjustable 24 hour circle where the date is and having a date window would clean the whole thing up entirely.
I miss all the great things that may never be.
