Thanks for posting the pics. Now you need to look for another black faced one to balance the collection up!

Nice collection. Excluding the citizen which looks big I really like the dimensions of your watches, all appear midsized...maybe in the 38-40mm range which is my favourite!

Re: Pics of some of my meagre collection...
Thanks for your kind comments, it's not much of a collection but it's a start.
The Favre-Leuba was my second ever Swiss watch, the first was a thing called a Ventex, also vintage, but I've never been able to find out anything about it? It was the design of the F-L and mix of numerals that really did it for me. It looks bigger in the pics but is fairly small by modern standards.
The Citizen is 45mm including the crown, so a fair size but that's about as big as I'd be prepared to go.
I love the Mondaine, and the Timex for that matter, for the simplicity of design, I can't read chronos anymore without glasses and I'm not keen on "busy" dials. jmarchitect is right though, I need a black face, maybe a C11?
Better get that watch fund started and get saving.......

You're not wrong redd, something with a black face? Or even orange? I had been hoping for a Seiko SKX007 for Xmas but ended up with socks and a jumper, although the wife still got a Kindle
Not sure how that happened

Seachief is the best one for me, a simple but good looking face. Ive never heard of Favre-Leuba so googled them, a Swiss company who were bought by the Indian watch manafacturer Titan Industries last year....learn something new all the time!

I love the sea chief, I have only ever seen one before and thats one my grandad picked up in switzerland one day a long time ago... probably the dinosaurs were still wandering about as he is quite old, its got no number just silver squares and a red face.. yours is very sleek looking in comparison! Personally I like your mondaine, no nonsense watch that one
