Omega Seamaster professional "Bond"

Post by John »

Today I bought a watch which stood on my wishlist 2008.
The Omega Seamaster professional "Bond", and it's great!!! :D

It was hard to find a nice one, because they aren't produced anymore.
Only the Coaxial version is produced now, but I wanted the real "Bond" with the non-coaxial movement.
This weekend I'll make some pics and post them over here.

Here's a first wristshot of my "Bond", it's a great watch to wear!
I'll soon make some other pics and post them over here.

Nice, I used to work with a couple of guys who had those. I've always been an admirer but never had the funds to aquire one. Still don't. I don't fancy buying a cheapy off ebay as I think theres a lot of fakes floating around, dont want to get stung.
Where did you get yours John, if you don't mind me asking? Do you know of a reputable dealer?

Cheers.
So many watches, so little time (and money!!!).

Mine was for sale at a Dutch watchforum.
I went to the guy to take a look at the watch and bought it, complete with boxes and papers.

This watch is already hard to get because it isn´t in production anymore.
The successor is almost the same watch with a few little changes in the dial and a Coaxial movement.
I prefer this non coaxial as it is the original Bond IMO.

Is it running well ?

It's running -2 seconds a day, I can live with that.

Don´t think I´m bored of it soon.
I´ve never had a watch that was wearing as great as this watch. :liebhab:
It´s the first watch ever that I´ve bought second hand, but it´s already my favourite watch.
Even better than my Breitling, and that one cost double.
