The Orient leaves me cold but that Steinhart GP is gorgeous - I actually like the white on black day date and if I got bored with it, it could be a swap into the C40 - customised!

What do the top two mean? I'm guessing first is day/date.

Yep. Day/Date will be black on white. Totalizers is another word for sub-dials, so they are still deciding how much gloss to put on them - crucial for readability. Work/ rotor is referring to the movement.

The more I look at this, the more I like it, and the package seems to offer great VFM. When will it be ready?

I've got to say that the more and more I see this the better it looks. Price is pretty tasty too. I almost wish I'd stuck down a reservation*.

*Isn't it strange that the previously proposed 2010 CWL FLE, which was a £600 7750 was met with such vehement opposition based (mainly) on price...?
