Same movement, similar face and half the price - does nothing for me. Mainly because of the bezel.JAG wrote:Did you see the Orient M Force i was looking for a few months ago

Re: Oh Dear...... What to do?
The Orient leaves me cold but that Steinhart GP is gorgeous - I actually like the white on black day date and if I got bored with it, it could be a swap into the C40 - customised!

Re: Oh Dear...... What to do?
Yep. Day/Date will be black on white. Totalizers is another word for sub-dials, so they are still deciding how much gloss to put on them - crucial for readability. Work/ rotor is referring to the movement.redd wrote:Bad google translation on what changes there will be:
"A few notes in advance ...
- Tages-/Datumsscheibe are still black - of course we get the white!
- Totalizers will be discussed such as (semi gloss) black in color
- Work / rotor still are not the originals (located on the last picture next to loose)"
What do the top two mean? I'm guessing first is day/date.
The more I look at this, the more I like it, and the package seems to offer great VFM. When will it be ready?

I've got to say that the more and more I see this the better it looks. Price is pretty tasty too. I almost wish I'd stuck down a reservation*.
*Isn't it strange that the previously proposed 2010 CWL FLE, which was a £600 7750 was met with such vehement opposition based (mainly) on price...?

Nicely retro, superb colour detailing and harks back to an Autavia. Mesh would also look good on here. Very much like this!
