Yub! Shippment notice received yesterday which means 2 days late than projected release date (not bad comparing to say Margrette......)

Parcel tracking shows watch was despatched directly from factory (in China) which could only mean final QC performed there, or worse none been conducted.

I hope it arrives tomorrow, afterall it shouldn't take longer than 2 days considering I live in the same country where the watch is origined. Will spend some time (at work place of course) to write up a comprehensive, yet VERY critical, review since it's only fair to be unfair on local produce right?

ITs here finally, 2 days later than the expected delivery date.

A very big box, for a moment I thought I ordered more than 1 accidentally.
Image

Unboxing, still wondering what the hack they've put inside the box to make it so big
Image

A plastic "first aid" box with a pointless sticker on top with the maker's name
Image

And here's the content, and what I paid for, essentially. I do appreciate the extra effort the maker put into printing a specific instruction manual for this particular model. They could have just print a few words on a white A4 which would serve the same purpose.
Image

Two complimentary extra straps, both black one being rubber (which is very hard and probably not never going to be fitted) and the other black leather with white stitches simply doesn't go with this particular watch I think, but will probably give it a try later on.
Image

Here's the watch placed on top of the wooden box which came with my Zodiac ZMX-04. The brown leather strap is actually very nice, imho, soft but sturdy and doesn't require any breaking in.
Image

And the case back, which is awfully simple and not interesting.
Image

Showing the signed crown (which is nicely done) and thickness of the case in comparison to C3 (and again impressed by how nicely done the C3 is)
Image

And finally the wrist shot
Image

Will post more review later on, got to get back to work since big boss in town.....but in the meanwhile, please enjoy the view of our Victoria Harbor on a sunny day 8)

Congrats, Aifo - a very striking piece, enjoy!

I wonder who came up with the names of the individual ranges...
NEVON...no idea!
MEGUM...sounds horrible to English ears for some reason (mine at least)...a corruption of mega and magnum? Apparently it's a brand of adhesive!
STRAHLEND is at least a real word - shining or brilliant in German
So is BRANCO...odd name for what appears to be a range of entirely black-dial watches...it's Portuguese for WHITE!

Some Hong Kong people certainly have their own ideas when it comes to English names, a friend of mine just named his baby girl "Yaka"; also plenty of ladies with English names like "Chanel" and "Cartier" (no joke). But the best came from one of my mainland Chinese clients called "Thunder"....... oh well

Adding some more shots on different straps, since this watch promotes itself as "Strap Friendly"

On the complimentary rubber and leather straps

And on a brown Zulu

The watch looks much better than the web pictures on their site. Where have I heard that before? :problem:

A nice looking watch Aifo - you certainly get a lot of packaging for your money there! I like the look of the Flieger MN and the Dietfried-I as well - although that silly nuclear symbol will have to go.

Nice watch Aifo. I quite like the simplicity and lack of clutter on it.... unlike your desk which seems to have a geek level of gadgets :). Particularly like the ultra modern monitor stand... two reams of A4 seems to be a popular model these days... it just gets fiddly when the printer runs out of paper. Anyway - back to the watch - it gets a  from me.

I like it. I wonder if the color of the hands could have been made to match the indices without having readability suffer too much. Think it actually looks best on the brown strap.

Hi Peteo, the particular version I picked would seem impossible, but the white indices one should have matching white hands but a red seconds hand. Probably best they can do.

I did, so I ordered one too, will be delivered tomorrow.

Just wish to share my exchange with Justin of Obris Morgan, who has been a very courteous chap and seems to understand the importance of peer reputation in a micro brand like his. He wrote to me and admitted embarrassingly that the watch I ordered is almost 1 minute off per day during the pre-delivery qc test and informed that he will replace the movement and re-test before shipping out. Whether that just some **** to cover a delay due to mis-managed stock control is beyond verification, but I consider it a thumbs up nonetheless.

Congratulations on the watch, it looks good.

No more Quartz (except when I cannot resist).

Lume on the hands is much more apparent than the sandwich dial, but it's not bad, just not Seiko standard. I will try to take some lume shots for comparison. :)

Arrived, this one is really more a toy than a watch. I do like the look though
