Re: Non-CW of the Day
Well i was still the seiko RAF chrono today, really feels like i've attained my own personal (military) holy grail with that one. Tonight i've switched to the Omega to keep the power reserve going and to get ready for the case restoration to begin.

I miss all the great things that may never be.

Re: Non-CW of the Day
Thanks Graham, It was a lucky ebay catch, in great condition and seviced buy Omega in December.
I have heard some horror stories about the 3301 movement which Omega claimed to have "sorted" by 2006 which some still say is up for debate.
The previous owner hasn't had any troubles with it from new and it has run very well since I have owned it.
The movement is based on the Piguet 1285 a Column-Wheel Chronograph. It feels a lot more sophisticated than the ETA 7750, with nicer pusher operation and with out the 7750 wobble, which is replaced with the nicest rotor winding noise I have heard on any watch.

Re: Non-CW of the Day
Wore the Colt Chrono yesterday.

Today I was wearing the Colt GMT

Until this Steinhart GMT turned up. Same movement (and same as C60 GMT) but different presentation.

And it has a 120 click bezel.

Liking the B'lings, Ian. I was admiring a Colt GMT in a shop window the other day. Is it related to the mark 1 Colt, do you know?ianblyth wrote:Wore the Colt Chrono yesterday.
