I am not sure if that was a design consideration on the tuning fork movements or a design compromise...it does seem to work though

That Accutron cost me about £20 off eBay (no sure why it was so cheap) and about £100 to get it fully serviced, so one of my better purchases I think. Certainly given how accurate the damn thing is

Well had a go on the fabric/plastic as below, and it has not gone well. Probably the most uncomfortable strap material I have ever had the misfortune to use. Completely non pliant, digs in, awkward to use and I feel dirty even trying it.



As I am now having my third shower in a row, have switched to this.
