A bit Franck Muller, but more understated. I like it.Aifo wrote:

Very nice... but I think I prefer yesterdays Longines (which I have only just noticed)Aifo wrote:

Thanks Cirrus, the Longines has been confiscated by my lady since acquisition, she says I can have it back once she receives a replacement in the name of Frank Muller, her absolute favorite, apparentlyCirrus wrote:Aifo wrote:

Haha! Good taste, your lady, although I think the Longines is nicer than the gaudy Mullers!Aifo wrote:Thanks Cirrus, the Longines has been confiscated by my lady since acquisition, she says I can have it back once she receives a replacement in the name of Frank Muller, her absolute favorite, apparentlyCirrus wrote:Aifo wrote:

Wearing this a lot lately, just enjoy the simplicity of hand winding the Unitas movement every morning. Works so well as a travel watch without a date function.

Might have that function being quartz but no that would be seconds and minutes.Aifo wrote:DM, a great looking watch!Right up my alleyDancematt wrote:New arrival!...ish, had it a few months but it didn't work, one new movement later:

More info: Steffan Johansson (the F1 driver) eta 251.262 chronograph from the early 90s in Nos condition. 39mm case, 12 hour rotating bezel, independant hour hand for £40. New movement was £50 and to fit it was about £47. Bit of a bargain really. Hard to find decent white dial chronos, has a sort of explorer II look to it
I miss all the great things that may never be.
