Ooh, nice clarky. I was going to bosh my Hirsch grand duke with red stitch on to see what it is like. Photos to follow when I get round to it!

Presumably pilots don't fly with a bottle of single malt to hand? Or do they?Clarky wrote:Trying out the GMTII on a Hirsch leather strap
I quite like it, it is after all a pilots watch.

Stunning watch, delicious whiskey

Which Hirsch is that? Liberty?

Spend a couple of days with this one on a trip to Germany. It's a great travellers watch and I am looking forward to trying the blue version...

You would hope that pilots don't fly with a bottle of single malt to hand.....

Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy
Re: Non CW of the Day

After a false start I finally received the proper curved end links to fit the Nav B Chrono II from the fine people at Steinhart. Quick turnaround to get them back to me and a trip to the watchmaker yielded this look for today

Re: Non CW of the Day
Seems like Aviator watches have been the flavour of the day today, which is fitting as I've been wearing my DM 1a GMT

Re: Non CW of the Day
Thanks, guys. It's still the favorite in my collection, I think. Everything about it is just so well made and clean, and the look is totally what I want in a watch. If it were just a couple of mm smaller, it'd be perfect, but even being a bit big for me, I still love it.Kansas City Milkman wrote:It gets my vote too. Very nice.Clarky wrote:
