Ooh, nice clarky. I was going to bosh my Hirsch grand duke with red stitch on to see what it is like. Photos to follow when I get round to it!

I quite like it, it is after all a pilots watch.
Presumably pilots don't fly with a bottle of single malt to hand? Or do they? :?

Stunning watch, delicious whiskey

Which Hirsch is that? Liberty?

Thanks. :)

Spend a couple of days with this one on a trip to Germany. It's a great travellers watch and I am looking forward to trying the blue version...

You would hope that pilots don't fly with a bottle of single malt to hand.....

Thanks for the kind words, the strap is a Hirsch Liberty

After a false start I finally received the proper curved end links to fit the Nav B Chrono II from the fine people at Steinhart. Quick turnaround to get them back to me and a trip to the watchmaker yielded this look for today :)

Seems like Aviator watches have been the flavour of the day today, which is fitting as I've been wearing my DM 1a GMT

Thanks, guys. It's still the favorite in my collection, I think. Everything about it is just so well made and clean, and the look is totally what I want in a watch. If it were just a couple of mm smaller, it'd be perfect, but even being a bit big for me, I still love it.
