You may well have missed something, Phil.

Ankle replacement operation a little over two weeks ago. Had my foot/ankle/lower leg in a cast since.

Outpatients appointment lunchtime today. Cast off, wound healing well, stitches out, redressed and into a boot for a further two weeks.

All going as well as might be expected.

Jeez. Needless to say, get well soon, Guy…Everton need a new striker next season. In the meantime, don’t be tempted to buy a Hobblot…🙈

I missed this last time 'round.

Get well Guy, probably not a lot of fun being in your shoes at the moment.... sorry about the poor (and dreadfully insensitive) attempt at humour there. Seriously though, hope it heals quickly.

I’ve come to realise that my personal sweet spot in watch sizes is probably 39mm, but this is 43mm and I love its on the wrist presence.

I’ve missed this one. I took it off to test the power reserve after owning it a year and haven’t worn it now for 12 days. Sorry, I won’t do it again.

I really like that, Guy. Most unusual but in a really good way. Just noticed that it has a very similar handset to the Bloxworth photo I posted a couple of pictures earlier.

Lovely watch that Iain, I'm a big fan of fan of those. I'm never overly concerned by the PR of my watch posted above yours. Typically it runs for in the region of 5+yrs. If I pull the crown out it'll go even longer.

There we go, Des.

Now I know why I like both watches; I've got a couple of Bloxworth Chronographs as well.

Mind you, that's not the only link; the Schofield has a 44mm case on the wrist (albeit 42mm bezel), same as the Bloxworth.
