The Mickey watch was made by Bradley in the late 1970s. The movement is either an AS or an ETA sporting one whole jewel... But unlike most one jewel movements, this one's jewel is spring loaded for shock protection. It was dead dead, dirty, with a loose and scratched up crystal and missing the crown when it was given to me in a box of old watches. But following a half service and a quick regulation, it came back to life. I wound it 29 hours ago and been wearing it since with it showing a 4 second gain. I am very surprised at how well this Mickey is able to point to the correct time, and hope that he'll be able to do it as well next time I strap him to my wrist.watchaholic wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 4:15 pm@GreatpotfarmGreatpotfarm wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:04 pm On the wrist... Bravo!!I have been looking and watching for a moving arms Mickey watch for years. How is the movement? Can you tell who made it and is it fully jeweled? Also the clock looks like a lovely piece. Will be nice to see when completed. Many times the brass plates are damaged almost beyond repair due to lack of jeweles and lubrication. Good luck.
