Decided the old "silver-dial dress watch on textured black leather strap" look was already covered by my Nomos Orion and vintage Seamaster (when it finally returns!).

69th one ever made (or issued) went 20 years without a service, for a no jewel watch its pretty hardy. Id recommend one for sure....or its 7a28 brother which is even better really but has less character for me.
Thanks, only problem with it at the moment is that when I reset the chronograph the middle dial sticks at about 47 seconds so i have to let it run a bit and press stop so it doesn't do my head in!

There is probably a way of nudging the hand to the Zero position - refer to your instruction book
