Ingenieur means engineer in German. The French version of engineer is ingénieur, so it looks the same to my uncultured northern roots, but linguists will highlight the accent over the first e.

Having listened to the online translations of both versions then I think the best way to pronounce it is to just say engineer in a French or German accent.

Note that Schaffhausen is in the German speaking part of Switzerland hence the German version of engineer.

After last night’s lunar eclipse it could only have been the DSOTM Black Black for today.

I've worn this for a few days now, with the intention of getting my average cost per wear below a horrifyingly high level to just a very high level.

It's a painful statistic to monitor.
