ALT1-ZT BL (Mr Porter) LE for this evening.

Even though this is a hefty, c.210g, piece, with a particularly hefty bracelet, this is one of my most comfortable watches to wear.

Back on the Ingenieur today. Still running and I’ve made it a personal challenge to wear this for a full year without it having stopped. Only 8 weeks to go.

Interesting exercise. How accurately has it performed over 10 months? :D

It depends.

It has a120 hour power reserve which is probably the only reason it’s not already stopped. I can go away for a long weekend and it’s still running when I get home.

When it’s worn it very accurate, however as the power reserve runs down it tends to drift. I’ve had to correct the time a couple of times over the last 10 months.

I had paused for a second and wondered “Does Iain think the year ends in May?” Then I realized you didn’t mean a calendar year…

Generally the dial is very clear and legible in almost all situations, but the lume on the hands for some reason is poor, particularly the hour and minute hands. Not sure why as it looks like they would glow the brightest.
