Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
I posted this watch a few weeks ago and said I was struggling to find a strap for it. Guy mentioned that Artem now do a black sailcloth with blue stitching, however I found this alternative from watch and strap for a fraction of the price and I’m very impressed.
These straps were discussed in an Artem thread in the strap section which is how I discovered them. Well worth the £25.

^ @iain is this the DS30? Such a smart piece. I really like the date color matching with the seconds hand and the new strap looks great.
I post a few watch pictures now and then to a little Instagram account - 16 followers and counting!

Is that fitted with the supplied QR spring bars?iain wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2024 1:57 pm I posted this watch a few weeks ago and said I was struggling to find a strap for it. I ask because the DS30 has spring bar hole’s quite close to the case and require curved spring bars for a lot of straps in my experience.
I think I might invest in a black/yellow version…

@timepieces_and_bags Thanks. Yes it’s the Damasko DS30 with the older ETA movement, not the newer in house version. It’s a couple of years old and I picked it up about 6 months ago now.
The Damasko hardened case means it still looks like new and I think the blue seconds hand a date window really make this version stand out over the all white one.

Yes, the springbars are quick release. Here’s a photo catching the light to show there is a gap so the case and strap don’t rub against each other.

Re: Non CW of the Day
So sold my Black Bay 39mm Blue and went for this. I had one of these until about 3 years ago. Always regretted selling it. If you want to buy or sell premium watches, I’d recommend (other than here of course
)
EBay as they offer an Authenticity Program.

The Tudor North Flag is so underappreciated. I should have got one when I had the chance so many years ago.
