Just finished 9 holes with the wife, stopped for a beer at a place right on the course before picking the kids up from the grandparents

I’ve had a number of field watches over the years but this one seems to tick all the boxes for me. Good size, lovely case, the textured dial suits a wide range of straps and it’s got tritium tubes. What’s not to like?

Starting my weekend off w/ a couple of American Classics..1st the chrono, then the 3-hander later this afternoon/evening...

Finally off the bench and onto the wrist.... It seems like I've been working on this one for months, but it's really only been a couple of weeks.

Crazy complicated dial (for me, anyway) involving the balance bridge, heat colored steel and stainless steel, silvered brass, carved and inked aluminum, applied and hand painted indices. Also just enough movement modification to create the top airplane's tail section seen behind the oscillating balance wheel (propeller).

In the short space of time you've been on the forum, your "work" has come on massively Dan! Particularly love the plane detail on that dial.

Thanks Ryan, I honestly can't believe it myself! I know, it's hard calling it 'work' considering how much I love doing it (and how much money I make at it ), but it truly is that when it comes to the energy expended... I'm not breaking my back at it... but I certainly can feel it in my fingers at times.... and more rewardingly, in my mind and heart...
