All the single digit dates have a zero in front on the Ingenieur.

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

This is an awesome watch. I’ve never actually seen one in person.iain wrote:All the single digit dates have a zero in front on the Ingenieur.

^^^^^ They are even better in person than in photos.

Just finished 9 holes with the wife, stopped for a beer at a place right on the course before picking the kids up from the grandparents

Re: Non CW of the Day
I’ve had a number of field watches over the years but this one seems to tick all the boxes for me. Good size, lovely case, the textured dial suits a wide range of straps and it’s got tritium tubes. What’s not to like?

Re: Non CW of the Day
Finally off the bench and onto the wrist.... It seems like I've been working on this one for months, but it's really only been a couple of weeks.
Crazy complicated dial (for me, anyway) involving the balance bridge, heat colored steel and stainless steel, silvered brass, carved and inked aluminum, applied and hand painted indices. Also just enough movement modification to create the top airplane's tail section seen behind the oscillating balance wheel (propeller).

In the short space of time you've been on the forum, your "work" has come on massively Dan! Particularly love the plane detail on that dial.Greatpotfarm wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 1:16 am Screenshot_20240601-190044.png

Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing where this constant progression may take you in the future.

Thanks Ryan, I honestly can't believe it myself! I know, it's hard calling it 'work' considering how much I love doing it (and how much money I make at itStrappedUp wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 7:33 amIn the short space of time you've been on the forum, your "work" has come on massively Dan!
