After a truly awful week, I was able to wear this today to the baptism of our friends new baby. Definitely the highlight of my week.
Very nice - that looks in really good condition.

very nice Clarky - more appealing than the bond version imo. Few Chrono gets a rare outing today:

Helping a friend build a garage today. Something tough was the order of the day:

I just can;t get enough of this watch! I might need an orange one (or possibly an orange or yellow Mako).

Do you know the age of this one??

I'm assuming it's a vintage, and not a modern re-issue, so could be dated by the serial no' on the movement!!

Only reason I ask, is that if it is a vintage, and this would be from the late 40's/50's.......the Omega logo doesn't look right to me......it's a little too large!!

It's a Nortel Meridian blah-blah version x. Like most phones, it has a massively complex user interface which means that some of the handy features are impossible to use. In fact, I can't even manage to reset the time on it, so I look at this instead...

Monkey,
The movement dates from 1958. The dial has been refinished or replaced at some point, so the logo may in fact not be quite correct. Good to know. Doesn't change my love for the watch. Besides, this was a 40th birthday gift from my wife, so it isn't going anywhere, unless it is with me!

Nice pressie :) I don't have anything against a nicely done redial like this one, even if the logo isn't quite right!! There are a ton of very dodgy redials out there, and a lot of them are Omegas

Enjoy that watch 8)
