I really like this. I ordered one at the end of last year (pre-owned from a dealer) but it was dead out the box when it arrived. Sadly it kind of put me off and I asked for a refund rather than a repair :(

Meanwhile, for #TrophyTuesday I'm wearing my Land Rover X Elliot Brown Holton LE.

NB> The dial has three varying levels due to its layers of different colour lume in a camouflage style, which causes it to look a shade out of focus in photos.

I like that, Guy. Looks superb on the white rubber - very Nordic military. The camo case is most unusual, as is the marking of freezing point at the 32 minute mark. Some engaging design quirks.

^^^^ Cheers, Des.

Those 'engaging design quirks' are something that Elliot Brown is particularly good at.

Not all timepieces indicate time in the same manner…

Bonus question…

Which timepiece has the most components?

Are you counting the cases and the bracelet? Or just the movements? Or will that make no difference?

I only bought it today at an AD. Loving it at the moment.

^^^^ Well unless I’ve just been looking on the wrong site the ocean clock uses a quartz mechanism which operates over 25 hours, not 24 so I suspect the Rolex would have the most components.

Ah I meant the most components of any timepiece, not the two in the pic.

Although looking at what I wrote, I can see why you guessed what you did.
