Probably the most easily read watch I have ever seen... with a style of its own that is very striking!
Fancy a trade?...

Thanks for the kind words and the trade offer, but I still enjoy all the pieces I've built. Will let you know if that changes!Greatpotfarm wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 11:53 pmProbably the most easily read watch I have ever seen... with a style of its own that is very striking!![]()

Re: Non CW of the Day
Ha! That didn't take you long, Guy. I hope you'll take as much enjoyment from it as I'm taking from mine. Looks like you went for the 42mm, the omission of antimagnetic gives the game away. Is that a Hanhart bund, it looks different to mine? Very pleased for you Guy, I'm pretty sure the 42mm will better suit your larger wrist.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 7:12 pm With grateful thanks to Des, @strapline for the inspiration to get this.

What glorious photos of the 58 blue. This watch has been on my own personal radar for a while now, these photos are really not helping. All excellent shots, bravo gents.

It is indeed the 42mm. It was karma that it came up when it did.
You'd posted about potentially getting yours when it popped up on the Kibble Watches Broadcast List; with Hanhart being in my mind from getting the Primus Pilot.
Neil posted suggesting the 417 ES 1954 for you. I checked KW thinking theirs might be a possibility but realised it wouldn't, being the 42mm.
The following morning I thought 'I've got funds from the sale of my Bremont #ProjectPossible which are meant to be going back in the watchfund / bank but . . . .' I'm sure you can work out the rest.
As to the strap? I'd bought it a short while earlier for my Pioneer MonoControl from one of the chaps on the CWE. It's Long (which I need) and came from an Etsy seller in Eastern Europe.

Goldsmiths have a few in their pre-owned stock at the moment, which would take the sting out of paying retail….
