A few weeks ago, I received a Formex Essence 39 Space Rock and it was fabulous and brilliantly engineered and everything, but I coveted another.

The object of my covetous attention has now arrived and it’s the Essence Leggera Space Rock and my word, it is even more fabulous!

I just can’t wrap my head around WHY I DON’T OWN ONE OF THESE. Coaxial mvmt, great looks, and for whatever reason, much more reasonably priced than a moon watch. Very nice.
I think it might be that early on I was completely obsessed with buying a 145.12 Speedmaster. The story of how (so the story goes) some of the original speedys bought were just purchased at the local AD just kills me. Later I think Omega directly supplied, but to own one of the original 321s that might very well been sitting on the shelf next to one that went to space would be the ultimate snare.
