Re: Non CW of the Day
After three weeks of headless chicken mode, it was nice to wear the Meistersinger for a few days. Another of my relaxed mode watches is up for wearing through the weekend.

Non CW of the Day
2011 40th anniversary Apollo 15 Speedy…
At nighttime the red and blue rings are almost unnoticeable compared to the white ones.

Yes Iain, I agree! Not truly binary... The general explanation that the LEDs are either on or off is pretty lame since the same could be said about any regular digital LCD display cells (just organized in a more readable pattern).
Here is a link to a blog that explains the reading part much better than I could.https://matt.might.net/articles/gadget-binary-watch/
The photo will make sense of the particular skeletonized module/dial of my design.

Did some research... Excellent history lesson behind this watch. Thank you!Greatpotfarm wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 3:14 amThe half I see is very nice, especially the round, sculpted crown. Now I have to look up the coordinates to find out who made it so that I can see the rest of it...
Top of the minute to you all,

Not high horology and showing the signs of age (aren't we all), but a classic Tissot design.
