First of a couple of strap arrivals for my other new arrival. The dial on this Intra-matic is just stunning in person.

Over the next week I intend sticking to models that are able to trace their history back before 1960.
Starting with this one. As CW weren’t around at the time, I will stretch the definition to include a couple of CWs where the advertising copy indicates that CW have taken inspiration from models at that time.

A different bracelet makes a different watch. I love this version of this watch. The angle of the photo makes the gap between the bracelet and the case look huge, but it’s not in real life

That is stunning, Ryan. As the dial says, a 10 no less.StrappedUp wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 11:34 am First of a couple of strap arrivals for my other new arrival. The dial on this Intra-matic is just stunning in person.

I've become a little obsessed with these Scubapro 500s and am currently hunting one down. Bit of a minefield but I'm confident the right one will turn up.
MM300 again today.

Have a good weekend CWF

^^^^That’s a good looking tool right there.I find myself gravitating more and more to my tool watches. Dressier watches certainly have their place, but for everyday wear I’m not having any luck ditching this Zenith.

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Re: Non CW of the Day
i think for something like this, it's all about patience. i'd been jonesing for a nice vintage quartz diver for years, but i always just missed out (i.e., someone snaked it before i saw it). like when a beautiful heuer popped up while i was on a flight and was gone before i landed. i was happy to snag this one when it cropped up on another forum, PMed as soon as i saw it. esp since i got it at a great price. plus i totally lucked out that this orange canvas strap that i'd gotten w/my doxa and hated on the doxa was perfect for the scubapro. It'sAliveJim wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 3:27 pmI've become a little obsessed with these Scubapro 500s and am currently hunting one down.
