Such a gorgeous watch! Is it 35mm case size? I’ve been looking at polerouters recently, and somehow they always seem bigger to me! Do you think they wear bigger?

Yes, 35mm diameter.

Wear bigger than what? I'm not sure they do in any case.

My wrist is a little slimmer than yours, I believe, so maybe the watch consequently looks bigger than how a 35mm would look on yours. Also, watches always look bigger in photos than in real life, IMO.

PS. didn't you have a Polerouter at one point?

No, I’ve never owned a polerouter. It always seemed like a bit of a grail watch back at the beginning of my time here. I remember when Wis had an amazing collection of polerouters and I was blown away. But I was new to it all and nervous about how much I didn’t know about buying watches in general, never mind vintage watches...

I totally agree about watches looking bigger in pictures, but for some reason I just had it in my head that polerouters would likely be a bit big for my wrist! I think back then that they existed as a shiny thing in my imagination rather than anything concrete with actual dimensions  :D
