The design queues are from the slip turn indicator dial found in MkI Hurricane, so L = Left; R = Right.

The H1 does indeed have an interesting dial and the signature Zero West case/lug design is unique.

However, after viewing your pic of the Longitude model, I just couldn't help but think that the "shelf" above each of those lugs is a dust trap! :shock:

You're absolutely right...the design and the way the lugs are fixed to the case does indeed mean that the gap is a dust magnet.
I'm currently looking at what I can use to clean there - something like a cotton wool bud.
