I have to agree. I particularly like that it has a telemetry scale. That’s unusually, and consequently, very appealing.Andyshall wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 9:50 pmI think I have commented on the before but it really is up there with nicest Heuer watches I have seen.biggus_richus wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 8:24 pm Heuer Carrera Calibre 18 Telemeter 4EB5D385-78CC-479B-BFE1-A377173B3C89.jpeg

Re: Non CW of the Day

I think the long Curvexes are a pretty good size still, for a men's wrist. They stretch most of the way across, so they don't look that small.

I’ve still not tested the full power reserve on this. I can’t seem to not wear it for more than a couple of days.

Re: Non CW of the Day
No, this is not posted in the wrong thread, it’s the Heimdallr C60 Trident clone that I bought years ago to compare to a real CW C60 for the forum. I do things like lend it to my eldest daughter every time she forgets to bring her watch when visiting for a few days; a common enough occurrence that it’s almost “her watch” (she actually has her own white dialled C60).
Or, as I did today, I wore it to the pottery studio. Bit of muck on it? No problem…

4/34 : Citizen Series 8 NA1010-84X
One of the most extraordinary new releases from Citizen in recent times is the Series 8. This model in particular stands out with its honeycomb dial with MOP in the background.
The movement known from the former Signature series has been improved again and is now called caliber 0950.
The detail processing is really first class, which can also be seen in the pictures.
So if you want to wear something different than the mainstream on your wrist, I can only recommend this watch.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Starting the day off w/ a Khaki Field chrono..don't see a lot of these out there as they must be slow sellers..still, it does have a legible dial & a proven movement(H-21)..
For 2-Crown Tuesday, an Airman 'Noon' re-release later this afternoon/evening..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Re: Non CW of the Day
New arrival and chuffed to bits. I came close to buying a mark xviii a couple of years ago but it just wore a little large. This is perfect. Really slim and wears lovely. Simple but nice. Just fully serviced by Iwc so looking very tidy indeed.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Excellent pick up there, looks fantastic. Interesting that this fits you better than the MKXVIII which is only 40mm diameter to the MKXVI 39mm. The newer version is also half a mm thinner at 11mm and compared to all my other watches seems incredibly thin.
I think the lug to lug on this is a few mm smaller though. It’s 50mm on the MKXVIII which doesn’t help.
Just shows how those tiny differences can completely make or break a watch. Enjoy wearing it.

Congratulations Paul. You certainly are an impulsive chap. No hanging around once you decide.
Good proportions, lovely bracelet; what’s not to like.
