Well, I decided on picking up the H3250513 version of the Hammy Jazzmaster Day/Date..it arrived late Monday afternoon, & I must say, these particular Jazzmasters are a sweet pick-up for around $600.00 or so(Joma Shop)..the 40mm dial fits my wrist very comfortably & the 80 hour power reserve of the H-40 movement is nicely displayed due to the sapphire crystal on the back..Hamilton did a wonderful job of mixing polished & brushed surfaces on both the case & the band...I'm very pleased..highly recommended!!!..also posting a pic of the newer version(H42565131)..the newer version has a case width of 42mm, a different bracelet, & a contrasting color on the dial face..wearing this baby all day today...

And a pic of the newer version, the H42565131..

Arrived just now and first impressions are contrary to my original thoughts:
scooter wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:12 pm Quite frankly if these watches were not linked with Christopher Ward I wouldn't have given them a second look.

That said I did and to be honest think that they are pretty awful.

Sorry, but we are all entitled to an opinion and should be honest about it.

New in today…

I really didn't like this when it first appeared at Basel 2018 – I thought the faux patina was a step too far.

However, tastes change and when you know that each dial is hand 'sprayed' so each watch's patina is unique, it kind of makes sense.

It comes with a nice single pass NATO as well in the usual Longines block-of-bricks box.

Don't know if you've seen this, it was only posted four days ago. I think it's a very charming watch btw...

Unlike you I really liked this when it was released. Tried it on and it was a touch larger than I'd have liked, but other than that it's absolutely lovely. Congrats

I’ve got that one! It’s not getting as much wear these days but I still love it. Your photo looks great.

Thanks! I just picked it up earlier this year, so I’m still very much in the honeymoon phase with it.

My mission to avoid wearing my "best" watches for work is failing badly. But its a happy fail!
