Wore my Longines yesterday and today (pic from yesterday):
I never noticed the guilloche in the sub-dial until I took this pic (my longsightedness is getting worse!).
Anyway, I was wearing the Longines when I brought my vintage Seamaster to Omega yesterday, to send it in for repairs and servicing (something wrong with the winding crown). Decided that despite the high cost, it was probably better to send it to them considering the uniqueness of my “in between”-sized version of the Seamaster – original parts might be hard to source outside. It would be good to have it authenticated by Omega as well.
The lady who attended to me had very nice things to say about my Longines when she spotted it on my wrist, and she was pretty impressed with the Seamaster as well.
