Change of clothes for my recent Speedmaster, I’ve put it on an uncle seiko tropic which is very comfortable.
Black makes a big difference to the stainless bracelet.
Ruby in the background waiting to chase some squirrels!!

Reminds me a bit of the Longines Heritage 1945..very cool!!..

Chuck, trust you - the only time anybody's commented on it! Personally, I like the design a lot and since it is only 7.3mm in height (ETA 2895) despite multilayer dial, applied markers and automatic, I think they did a very nice job overall.
Fortis also claim inspiration from their own 1930/40s range, obviously catching. I hope Longines are doing ok with their take as I don't think Fortis did very well with it, a shame, but I snapped up a bargain.....
