Puurrrfect!
That's a good looking piece and a great looking bezel. I really enjoy my titanium Mido Ocean Star. Noticeably lighter than steel, and a great go to vacation watch. Impervious to sea water and not so worried about taking a more expensive piece out into the unknown.gaf1958 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 12:29 am After a 7+ month wait, the Dailos Waveform has finally arrived. With a 40mm hardened titanium case and bracelet (only slightly darker than stainless), drilled lugs, Seiko NH35, teal coloured sunburst dial and a ceramic bezel, it certainly fits my typical criteria for a Kickstarter purchase. I removed a couple of screwed links last night ready to wear today.
I was admittedly uncertain whether the grey ceramic bezel was the best choice (there was a not-quite-matching teal option) but the ceramic matches the metal beautifully and I really like the raised, highly polished markings on it... they look great actually. Yes, that’s surprise speaking there.
Downsides; only one to date - the bezel action is pretty ordinary with very soft clicks and quite a bit of backplay in it. It’s not something that bothers me too much, as turning it one “apparent” notch past 12 then turning back, centres the marker perfectly. So alignment is good, the engineering is lacking a little. Still, the expected standards for entry level Kickstarter watches have certainly been raised over recent years and, that one issue aside, this has met them perfectly.
