Nice contrast between the 2. You’re right about the Signature line. An understated and often overlooked line for sure.Jkpa wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 2:35 am New arrival.
Citizen Signature Octavia.... Carbon... Didn't know it even existed. Citizen are famous for the horrific lack of advertising and even a catalogue, detailing which watches they actually make. The Signature line is amazing - this is my 4th.
Here it is next to its normal steel sibling.
I have the Grand Classic Signature Automatic and it looks great and keeps excellent time. Bought in 2017 from Citizen shop in Orlando

It is a bit bland, a splash of muted red could be goodwatchaholic wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 3:22 am I'll give this one a go for a few days. Thinking about doing a slight mod and having my watchmaker install red chrono counters and main center hand. Thought or suggestions welcome.

Two lovely watches here Guy. It's a while since I had a Steinhart and it's a brand in my sights at the moment (and yes I know there's one in the FS section but I'm trying to stay focussed on C6 and C600 wear.

. . . but now, for this evening, wearing my Steinhart Ocean One Bronze.

Not the exact colourway you're looking for, Dwight, but the orange hands on my LeJour MkI chronograph will give you an idea of how your idea might look.watchaholic wrote:I'll give this one a go for a few days. I'm not able to help you out here, Pete. Sorry.tikkathree wrote:Two lovely watches here Guy. It's a while since I had a Steinhart and it's a brand in my sights at the moment (and yes I know there's one in the FS section but I'm trying to stay focussed on C6 and C600 wear.![]()

Whilst I have been ambivalent towards Steinhart for a long time my Bronze Ocean One, which I've only had for a couple of months, is growing on me and I'd like to hang onto it for a while longer.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Legibility is my main concern, and the main chrono hand can sometimes get lost against the dark subdials. The white pointers don't so much, but I think if the main center hand were the only red on the dial it might look out of place. Thanks for that Guy.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 8:20 amNot the exact colourway you're looking for, Dwight, but the orange hands on my LeJour MkI chronograph will give you an idea of how your idea might look.watchaholic wrote:I'll give this one a go for a few days. Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…
