Still Turtle. Day off, at my girlfriend house in the country. Such a difference from my flat in town. You can actually hear the birds and stuff

One of the could it be a “one watch” candidates.

I have decided that watches that would happily and genuinely work as a “one watch” candidate are my favourite group of watches. A box of those, plus a couple of less subtle SS on bracelet models and one high end dress watch, it would be job done. Put away wallet, sell the others and call it quits. :)

Sounds like you’ve had an epiphany! Can’t wait to see sales corner!
A bit more seriously, I love when conversations on the forum help me re-jig my thinking about my watches or my collection. Sometimes I chuck thoughts out there - like in the one watch thread knowing that it will help refine my thinking or give me a new perspective. This time around it has me considering no date watches for the first time - and that’s a big shift for me.
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

This is becoming a ‘thing’ for me too! I think my options are no date watches or going full cyclops...

Sea Urchin on a leather strap for today. This watch has become a real strap monster for me lately. I’ve got a 2-piece grey NATO style coming for it.
