I believe you can use toothpaste aswell, but don't hold me to that!
I suspect that's Sapphire rather than acrylic so Polywatch won't touch it :(

I think new crystal might be the only way forward.

I really don't like rubber straps normally but have heard the Timefactors rubber is very good quality and a bloody site cheaper than a "proper" one. I will give it a go and if i don't like it i will sell it on and buy a black/beige python leather or a Nato for it.

Had it about a year I think... I wore it quite often when I first got it, but not so much since as I was slightly concerned at the noise the rotor was making; I took the back off last evening and lubed / tightened the rotor bearing a little and the noise has since reduced substantially, so I think it is OK enough to wear again ;)
