no, i think that strap overwhelms the rodina. it needs something a bit more subtle.

So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

I agree. Sorry. A mesh, particularly a fine one? Or a more plain leather strap?gwells wrote:no, i think that strap overwhelms the rodina. it needs something a bit more subtle.

Bought it about 12 years ago and still have the same band on it. It's running about +1 sec after one day.

Re: Non CW of the Day
barry72/gwells, I've read on other sites that the Rodina can be a bit noisy, have you noticed this as an issue?

Re: Non CW of the Day
it's noisier than any CW, particularly hand winding. it's noticeable if you try to listen for it in a quieter place, but in everyday use, i never notice the rotor turning unless i hold it up close to my head.

Thanks, quite tempting! I'd really like the Stowa Antea, but this is obviously a very similar look for a lot less cash!

some day i will buy an antea (a used one with the old logo), but i have other watch desires that have higher priority. once i get one, i will give this away to one of my younger relatives.teestech wrote:Thanks, quite tempting! Re: Non CW of the Day
Took delivery today, a pleasant surprise with how the dial displays a deep burgundy, almost ruby color and sunburst effect. The seller's photo lead me to believe it's black!
Need some tutorial from our inhouse tissot specialist on this piece, Monkey, are you there!?

I have become more and more attached with vintage watches, maybe a Heuer Carrera for next?
