Fake Rolex guy was still there, has moved onto fake comex and milsubs now, kinda cool in a naff way that people fake those. Vostok guy wanted 60 quid for his amphibia, i told him to stop having a giraffe. i won't be going again unless its moved back to paddock wood.Robin CB wrote: A great shame![]()
I haven't been for a couple of years, but last time I went there were a couple of stalls selling nice vintage watches, including the guy who specialises in WW2 German (and one, not so nice, stall selling very dodgy "rolexes")

I miss all the great things that may never be.

I love that Oris, in the flesh it's one of the most legible watches I've seen.

Got to properly unbox my Steinhart Ocean One (Green) today. Managed to take a few more pictures of it.

Jealous! I'm on the fence on wether to get one or not.
I reeeealy want the 50th anni Rolex on which this steinhart is based but it will be a few years before I can afford one!
How does it wear with regards to the straight lugs?
Any wrist shots?

Re: Non CW of the Day
I've seen a "Froggy" in a London Jewellers window and think its the best looking version.I only have a 6 1/2 inch wrist but its fairly flat, not round. I've taken five full links out of the bracelet. A good range of micro adjustment make for a very comfortable and snug fit with no sliding about. Its got some weight to it also.AdDaMan wrote:Jealous! I'm on the fence on wether to get one or not.

Thanks. I am really tempted by one but don't want to feel like I'm wearing a wannabe which it sort of is as its pretty much identical. I don't know... Lol
Did you get it direct from steinhart?

It does seem to be unusual verging on the unique - I can't even find reference to another, and nor could Mathey Tissot! The closest I have come was a similarly marked one but of a different design that showed up last week on eBay... and I bought itsmegwina wrote:Now THAT is a stunner!!!!! Either it is fixable - which is good - or more likely I will end up with spares for my original - also good.
Some discussion of it here;
