This has to be the most underrated Tudor.

Very nice, Patrick! What a lovely gift from your thoughtful wife.

Thanks yes it is a great watch, I'd tried one on a few times before on visits to Tudor AD's and always planned to get one at some point. So now seems as good a time as any 8)

I'm also very lucky to have a wife who tolerates my watch buying habits, sometimes even encourages them...dangerous

Dangerous indeed if her reasoning for apparently accepting your habit are similar to Mrs nbg’s are of mine! :)

I just have to accept that following any significant watch purchase the die is cast.

At no stage will I be able to say something along the lines of “I don’t think that it’s a good idea to spend £x on... (whatever expenditure plan the lady has come up with), as I know what the likely response will be.

Congratulations on the NF, something different to the normal suspects.

Cheers Richard, I did see a couple of custom straps for sale for a NF so might be an option to consider

Neil, there was a guy selling a couple on eBay a week or so ago but sadly they no longer seem to be listed. I did however find the site below and his looked somewhat similar.

If I see anything else I’ll let you know as I might be a buyer too.
