The used excellent condition watch that took one and a half hours to buff / polish all the gouges and scratches out of the case and bezel , that I could have walked to Northumbria and picked up faster than it was posted out .Image

Wintersports - I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Bronze Steel Dive, I have read good things about some other models.

Damasko for me today;

I'll post something longer in the next couple of days. I had a post in WTB as initially I was looking at a bronze Heimdallr, Sharkey etc etc as a sort of proof of concept. Does bronze suit me and as I have some skin issues with metals does it turn me green [can only wear surgical steel wedding ring] :).

I'd fancied a bronze BB but there's the feel of not quite a sub even though it's much more than that, and TBH Beckham as brand ambassador puts me off slightly.

So far:
  • Delivery super quick, order 5pm Thurs, arrived Sat AM [bought from UK importer https://www.steeldiveuk.com/]
  • Box decent
  • 'Hand feel' good
  • Bezel 120 clicks and tight
  • Crown smooth
  • Sits well on the wrist
  • Lume good
  • already slightly patinating
  • Straps both good - I'd say silicone would be £10+ and leather with quick release £15-20. Would be better with a bronze buckle
So far a lot to like and not much to criticise.

Very nice Guy!
Is that one new in, or have I missed it previously?
Cheers Gary.

Think you missed it previously, possibly as I don't get to wear it that often (too many watches ).

Got it in the Autumn last year from @footycrazy in trade for a C11 Makaira Extreme which he badly wanted.

Subsequently, more recently, also got an Aquis Hammerhead LE from @neilj568. Stunning grey dial on that.

Indeed, although I don't believe he owned it for that long before I got it.
