First time I’ve done a watch trade. Very very happy with this new addition.
Very nice Lindsey. I’ve often thought of buying one of these Archimedes; they seem to almost be the Swiss Army knives of watches - they work with everything.

My Seiko Sawtooth in orange. At 47mm it’s jointly the largest watch in my collection - the other being the same model, but with a steel bezel and electric blue wave dial. However the curvy case and short lugs, mean that it sits beautifully on my 7.25” wrist.

I really like it. Doesn’t have a diver bezel, all brushed stainless steel, 200m WR. I think your description of it as a Swiss Army knife of watches is spot on. I obviously have too much time on my hands but i’ve been thinking ahead because I really like the white full lume dial too  You might be the person to ask about having 2 of the same watch but in different colours?? Korkki might have some experience in that field too!

As you’re undoubtedly aware (from your question :) ), I not only have no problem with the “same watch” with different dials, I’m quite keen on the concept. Mind you, I do have enough watches for the collection within a collection idea to be viable.

If say, I had only one watch - would I do it? I’d like to think I’m sensible enough to say no, but I possibly would if I liked the watch a lot.... Hell, I used to own two sets of two absolutely identical C6 Kingfishers - one on bracelet, one on a strap. Two yellow, two orange. But then I bought the automatic LE versions and decided to sell the duplicates. So rationality doesn’t really come into it for me.

Maybe I’m not the right person to give you counsel in this Lindsey. :|

I think, rather than wise counsel, it’s largely been dollops of enabling that i’ve received from the forum!

That really is a great watch. Great dial, great movement, great price. Overall one of the best values out there

Inspired by a post from yesterday. A new addition and slated to be my summer "go to" watch.
