Two watches on the docket tomorrow as I am doing another hike in the White Mountains of New Hamshire.
For the drive up and back, I'll be wearing something suitably "outdoorsy woodsman" - a swiss made quartz LLBean Vintage Field Watch:
Then, for the hike up a small mountain, I'll switch to a Garmin GPS/heart rate monitor fitness watch:
I'll set it to display heart rate, time, distance, and elevation on the hike. When i get home, it'll upload the GPS track to the computer where it can be viewed in Google Earth like this one from last week's hike:
