Re: Non CW of the Day
Yet another stunning watch, may I enquire how many you have in your collection? You seem to continuously post pictures of amazing watches. Love the Tissot and the Omegas you have posted recently. It seems we have similar tastes, though I think your collection is a little (lot) more developed quality and budget wise than mine.

That is a great looking Seamaster, and like you, I really like the handset.gaf1958 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2020 12:39 am And today’s *actual* watch is a 1993 Omega Seamaster 200. I’d been looking for one of these for years, but usually when I found a nice one, it always seemed to be the smaller 36mm size (this is the less commonly seen 38mm) or the condition wasn’t up to my (admittedly close to unrealistic) standards. This one looks almost new after a recent Omega service and is the larger size, with my preferred style of sword hands (vs the Mercedes handset). It also has the original box and papers...
I finally got hold of a new bracelet link so that it sits more comfortably on my wrist than it did before. It might get more wrist time now...

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Thanks, it’s taken quite a while to get there. I did a census recently and I’m just shy of 150.Soporsche wrote:Yet another stunning watch, may I enquire how many you have in your collection? Thanks; it took many years to find one I liked, albeit at a price I didn’t really like, but still...watchaholic wrote:That is a great looking Seamaster, and like you, I really like the handset.

Re: Non CW of the Day
An Oris 65 BB much of today as I'm expecting a CW C65 Trident Khaki from the Jan. Sale to arrive soon..I'll try to take some comparison shots of them both at work today during my breaks..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..
Re: Non CW of the Day
Gary to help you reduce the collection I would be happy to take that Seamaster off your hands.gaf1958 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 11:22 amThanks, it’s taken quite a while to get there. 95% of current model Omega’s do nothing for me. The old stuff though is a different matter.

....and nothing wrong with that - Seiko are great value for money and make up the bulk of my collection....!!!

Yep I agree!
The hobby would have been far easier and no less interesting had I just stuck to Seiko and Rolex, plus a couple of left field choices.
