A Seiko Grand Seiko SBGA387 all day today as I work at recovering from yesterday's excesses..

Lovin' is like a dyin' ember
Only memories remain
Through the ages I'll remember
That blue dial shininin' in the rain

Some day when WISs meet up yonder
We'll stroll watches on wrists again
In a land that knows no partin'
This blue dial will be shininin' in the rain
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

On holidays, walked into AD and could not leave this one in the display case Image. Guess have to give the planned GMT a miss for now. Very happy Image.

I just could not walk away. Bit of a cash drain indeed so a few of the collection have to go and need to reset the plan (at least for now until something else unexpectedly crosses my path Image).

Good times all around.

Congratulations, what a great way to remember your holiday. One of Rolex's more subtle models, very elegant

Oh the joys of watches.

I made a similar 'on holiday' purchase last autumn in North Wales. Walked past a Jeweller's shop having a retirement / closing down sale. Had no intention of buying but there was a Seiko Samurai Pepsi in the window looking all lost and lonely. It came with me to a caring home.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and your purchase.

Very nice ^^^

Surely can't be long before Tudor introduce this and a few more colours to the 58 range after its success.

Keeping with the theme: This came home with me after a holiday in early June. No intention of buying anything either, but the dealer was cleverly placed right in front of the lifts on the way down from the room inside the hotel.

Don’t regret it!

Day 2. Great holidays, great time(s) and great family. Life is good - so grateful Image. Wear the watch you like and share your time with the people most important to you. Look after your health and nothing else matters. Have a great weekend CW forum!

Thanks Andy! We wear them with pride, pleasure and humility. Rethinking the collection strategy- have the core base watches covered now that meet most needs (dress, sports, casual, diver). Thinking about the supportive trio depending on circumstances (GMT, field/practical/aviator and (rotational) watch from the left field.)
