Hello and thankyou theaub - I find the quality and value is very comparable between Steinhart and CW. Candidly, the decoration is stronger on the C40 than this watch if you were searching for just a straight chrono.....I wanted something with more of a Pilot style feel so grabbed this. I've owned two in the Ocean Series (OVM and O1 GMT) and was very pleased with both, especially the bracelets.
