That's a beauty. How do you find the quality of Steinharts compared to CW? I've been looking at their Oceans recently and thought of purchasing one when they come available again on the site.

Re: Non CW of the Day
Hello and thankyou theaub - I find the quality and value is very comparable between Steinhart and CW. Candidly, the decoration is stronger on the C40 than this watch if you were searching for just a straight chrono.....I wanted something with more of a Pilot style feel so grabbed this. I've owned two in the Ocean Series (OVM and O1 GMT) and was very pleased with both, especially the bracelets. Fellow forum memeber Ceegee just picked up a white Ocean 2 and it is stunning.
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

I was just clarifying that my comment of 'classic' was aimed at the GT40 / Monaco Heur (which they both are) not your statement of "That's beautiful"; but then on the other hand your comment might be considered classic . . . . .
. . . better stop there before I confuse us both!

Have a good day.
