Very swish.
I had half thought that you would have taken that one on hols to test the WR and take some Canary Sun pics to show off the dial.

Was a tough choice neil but felt the submariner was built specifically to deal with the 2m I have been known to get down to at the deepest part of the pool. I did miss the newbie but didn’t feel i was slumbing it too much!

Really sharp watch, Guy. How does the reverse 12 hour bezel work? Is it supposed to be an hour countdown rather than some reversed version of a "poor man's GMT?"
Cheers.
I suppose it could be either but in reality the bezel is an hour countdown and, being an Aviator watch, it rotates either way.
You actually get the option to specify a 12-hours or 60 minutes bezel with the 12 hour available decreasing (standard, as I have) or increasing (cost option) and in either satin (standard), polished (option) or black pvd (option) finishes.

Interesting. I have never before seen a decreasing 12 hour bezel for an hour countdown function. In reality, it doesn't really matter what markings are on the bezel. I've been using the dive timing bezel on my C65 to track Tokyo time and after an initial, short acclimation period, find it intuitive and very handy.
