Wen't to the local Omega AD again the other day. That's 3 trips in as many months. My resolve is weakening.

new to me SNZH51 (birthday present). actually got two watches for my birthday (well, one actual watch--this one--and one promise of a watch, which will get its own post).

temporarily on a nato strap i had lying around while i try to find my jeweler's screwdrivers so i can take a few links out of the bracelet. this is my new "beater" tool watch, the one i can wear when i'm doing stuff if i would be worried about wearing something nicer. which is scary, thinking that a watch that costs more than i had ever spent on a watch 16 months ago is my "beater' now. oh how things changed.

Funny gwells I has the identical conversastion with a buddy yesterday about beater watches and how my perspective had changed!!

gwells, you and I becoming too much the pair. Both live in NoVa, both like watches, both like baseball, both like the Bremont Solo (when are you getting yours?

), both posting trash talk about the same outrageous watches, and now both have a Seiko 5 (mine's blue) as a beater watch. What's next? Oh man, it boggles the mind to consider the possibilities!
