Re: Non CW of the Day
It’s a Seiko SKX mod for me today. It’s more of a lemon yellow than the OEM vibrant Seiko yellow that’s only occasionally seen. It also has the SKX style dial rather than the 7002 style dial found on the SKXA35.

That looks great Gary. I assume this is an aftermarket dial?
I've looked at these in the past, but could only find them without working lume on the hour markers.

#SeikoSunday - Seiko Orange Monster Gen1.

I need to get it off the mesh strap, it looks badly proportioned, and onto either the original bracelet or a NATO / ZULU or even a rubber strap. Just something else.

Re: Non CW of the Day
It’s an aftermarket dial and chapter ring, yes. To my knowledge, Seiko never made a yellow dial with lume plots in the SKX pattern. It has working lume on the dial, but it’s not quite as good as the OEM Seiko hands, although it does last most of the night with some legibility.StrappedUp wrote:I assume this is an aftermarket dial?
