Thanks! That's the nice thing about a Damasko, no fear of the rocks scratching the watch. ;) I zoomed in so the water appears closer than it actually is. But I did almost drop it in the waterfall.

Electric blue...

A blue sword-handed SMP has returned to my collection after an absence of approximately a year. This one has been freshly serviced and bought back to like new, plus it has my signature electric blue mod of the blue bezel in place of the polished one. In my opinion, this is the way they should have come from the factory in the first place...

I do have to admit that for any of my “watch balanced on rocks” pics, I have put a leaf, or leather patch, between rock and watch and if water is involved made sure I could retrieve the watch if it fell off! :)

That's a beautiful blue Seamaster Gaf. Too bad Omega doesn't make these anymore.

Does it also have a different font for the numerals? I never really liked the oversized numerals on the others I have seen but I am not a Seamaster expert.

Thanks Frank. :) The electric blue sword handed SMP broke ranks with all of its predecessors by having a polished bezel insert. The insert also had the same oversized bezel numbers introduced with the black version below.

I always ensure that mine have the blue bezel from the skeleton hand SMP fitted, as I think it matches much better. Fortunately for me, this one had been fitted with a brand new blue bezel when it was serviced before sale (the original polished one was included), so it saved me the bother of doing it myself :)

The font on the blue bezel is the original SMP style, as there was never a blue bezel with the oversized numbers.

Thanks Guy! I was pleased to get another - this one is also in much better nick than my last blue one was... It’s as nice as my black one is.
