What about a rally style strap? And we know what you did with the mesh

I have that very piece sitting in my bedside cabinet. It was my engagement present from my then fiancé, bought for me as an alternative to a ring. They have a lovely alarm tone if I remember correctly. I stopped wearing mine about twenty years ago although I did get the clasp renewed and battery changed about six years ago. Waste of time really as each time I put it on, I was reminded of just how expensive that engagement turned out to be!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Dusted my 1990 Seiko Quartz Chrono SQ100 off yesterday to get a new battery fitted and thought it ought to get a little wrist time today;-
Photos taken yesterday morning before new battery being fitted; hence time is out.

Mine was a present from my wife for looking after her following a bunion operation; we've now been married 27 years (sorry your engagement didn't work out).jmarchitect wrote: I have that very piece sitting in my bedside cabinet. .... or did I get the wrong end of the stick and you got married?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Mine was a present from my wife for looking after her following a bunion operation; we've now been married 27 years (sorry your engagement didn't work out).jmarchitect wrote: I have that very piece sitting in my bedside cabinet. The current bracelet is not correct for the watch and I don't truly like wearing it.
I want to get a correct one or something different, but the lugs / fitting is really awkward.

No marriage but still a shed load of solicitors fees, signed over the house, car, cat, etc, etc. I did leave with my stereo, chefs knives and wok. Oh and the lovely seiko of course!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:.... or did I get the wrong end of the stick and you got married?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Mine was a present from my wife for looking after her following a bunion operation; we've now been married 27 years (sorry your engagement didn't work out).jmarchitect wrote: I have that very piece sitting in my bedside cabinet.
