Popped to Lakeside shopping centre and arrived home with this.
I've been looking for a simple time only watch with decent sized hands and having decided I couldn't justify £2k for the Tudor BB41 I went hunting.
Although I was hoping for something without the date window, as soon as I put this on, I was sold.

A nice (cheaper) alternative to a 3,6,9 Rolex Explorer.

Great Choice. I opted for the C65 Classic instead, but you've now got me thinking again whether I made the right choice. Looks fantastic

Thanks, I dismissed this before purely on the lug width, 21mm.
I have loads of 22mm straps that require attachment to something, but I think this will stay on the bracelet.

Well, I had a fantastic fortnight in Cyprus with just the Speedy and a beater. But there had to be SOME compensation for coming back.

Missed you! :cuinlove:

^^^ Victorinox makes some very nice looking watches. That one wouldn't be in my beater collection, it would be in my pampered collection.

They certainly do

Trust me, a 'beater' for me probably has about as hard a life as most people's pampered collection!

When I say beater I really mean a grab-and-go Quartz that I throw on with my scruffs at the weekend.

Haven't worn my Bulova Precisionist for a while. I love the hypnotic smooth-sweep seconds hand.
