^^ Just a couple of days ago. I visited an AD while on holiday, and the rest... was predictable.

It's a 44 like you had mate. Oh, hang on, it was your watch. Now continuing to do the rounds. It has real history Don't ask who's next! It's staying....gaf1958 wrote:nigelb001 wrote:This one today as new in this morning a Dan Enry

The perfect watch for some Vogon Poetry.
Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me,
As plurdled gabbleblotchits,
On a lurgid bee,
That mordiously hath blurted out,
Its earted jurtles, grumbling

I’m a bit slow sometimes, but the penny has finally dropped. I saw a photo of it on Guy’s wrist not too long ago, so my excuse is that living in Oz, I’m so used to delivery times being measured in weeks that seeing it mere days later meant I didn’t connect the dots... It’s really not incipient Alzheimer’s... honestly...nigelb001 wrote:It's a 44 like you had mate. Oh, hang on, it was your watch. Now continuing to do the rounds. Looks good though, but then they do don’t they! My 40 is not going anywhere else.

Non CW of the Day
MissF look out! Although I doubt she’ll be espousing about anything micturating in her poetry... unless she wants to take the p**s out it... Pardon the very bad pun, but then how long is it before earth is scheduled for demolition? No time to make a better one...smegwina wrote:The perfect watch for some Vogon Poetry.

Lovely watch though, even if it’s (undoubtedly) the 45.5mm beastie. It scales accordingly to your wrist though...

fabulous poetry smegwina! i love it! especially the micturating bit - it's one of those words that jobbing poets try their hardest to squeeze into a poem at least once in their career, but it's very hard to do so........smegwina wrote:

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Alas, I cannot take credit for the Vogon poetry - that must go to Douglas Adams.missF wrote:fabulous poetry smegwina! i love it! especially the micturating bit - it's one of those words that jobbing poets try their hardest to squeeze into a poem at least once in their career, but it's very hard to do so........smegwina wrote:
