Both great watches. How do they both compare?

I've been experimenting with the Archie Luxury method of NATO fastening, which keeps all the buckles on the underside of your wrist

Basically, allow the 'spare' strap section to hang free on the same side as the buckle. You'll need to pull the buckle side through the springbars to make it longer than normal. Place on your wrist and thread the long end through the spare keeper and the actual buckle at the same time. Find the hole and slide the excess into the two keepers as usual.

I'm quite liking it :D
I have been doing that for ages - thought I had invented it. :)

Devastated to realise that it's Archie's way!

I think it works well.

Treated Sue to a coffee and a banana in Waitrose.

She's really worth more than the 25p I paid though.

What's the strap that you have on your sub Scooter? I've been thinking about taking mine off the bracelet to experiment a bit. I recall there is a company (is it Everest) that makes bespoke rubber & leather straps for subs, but they cost £200-£300 I think.

^^ I think scooter's strap is a Hirsch natural rubber. I'm wearing my Breitling Colt on a similar one as we speak.

Trying on the Geckota K1 that arrived today from the sales corner on behalf of my work colleague.

Nice looking watch and a serious bargain.

^^^That did indeed look like an awful lot of watch for the money.

The only thing that stopped me buying was the size. Looks good tho.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on reaching the amazing 30,002! (too late for the 30K)
