But your blue Rolex never looks small on your wrist in the photos - does it wear bigger than it's actual size or is your wrist small also?

An increasingly rare day out for the speedy. Surprised I am saying this but a possibility this could end up in sales corner at some point. Not helped by me trying on the gp laureato last week!

It's true that my wrist certainly isn't large but not super small. I would say any watch without a functional bezel wears slightly larger as there is more dial. When I first got it it did seem different to what I was used to but now it seems just right. A few years ago this would never have been considered a small watch. I think when the lugs get close to or even overhang the wrist then that looks too large to my eyes.

If would suggest you wear a 36 for a few days and see how you feel. There are a number of people who say the 36 explorer stacks up well against the newer 39 so it's all personal taste really

Now I just need to find an AD that has a 36 and a 39 that they would let me take away for a week or so to try out wearing each and returning whichever one didn't suit. Know any ADs that would do that? :D

Bulova Curv titanium case. This wasn't supposed to be my next watch, though I have admired one since released a year ago. A silly price seemingly just for Sunday at H.S.Johnson made me press the button. The Junghans will have to wait. Not everyone's cup of tea I realise but totally different to my usual aviation/motoring/diver styles. I'm really liking it, it pops on the wrist and is ridiculously comfortable.
